Marking
Fiber laser markers are IR (infrared) lasers because of their 1090 nm wavelength. Fiber lasers can mark a variety of materials, although they are most effective when used to mark metal. Since IR light is transparent to them, they are unable to mark transparent surfaces despite their great power, which makes them ideal for engraving and annealing applications.
